About SoFlo
Coach Braxton is a former professional soccer player who signed his first contract at the age of 16! Braxton has competed at the highest levels of American soccer, including the Major League Soccer (MLS) and the United Soccer League (USL). His journey began at the Real Salt Lake MLS Academy, where he developed his foundation as a player and gained exposure to pro-level training from a young age. Throughout his professional career, Braxton played for multiple organizations (Inter Miami, Portland Timbers, Real Salt Lake, Birmingham Legion, Indy Eleven) gaining experience across different environments and levels of competition, which shaped both his understanding of the game and his approach to player development. During the offseason, Braxton began working with youth players while back in town visiting his family in Fort Lauderdale, initially as a way to stay connected to the game and give back. What started as a small commitment quickly turned into a passion. He discovered a deep love for coaching, mentorship, and helping young athletes unlock their potential both on and off the field. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Braxton saw an opportunity to turn that passion into something greater. He founded his own soccer training business and opened up his first physical indoor location within just months! Holding a strong vision of developing the next generation of players through high-level training, professional insight, and a culture built on discipline, confidence, and purpose, Braxton has gone on to open up the second and brand new So Flo Soccer Training Center. Today, Braxton has trained and developed a wide range of soccer players from two/three year old beginners to elite professionals, and continues to impact hundreds of young players. His mission is to bridge the gap between grassroots soccer and the professional level by providing access to the same standards, knowledge, and mentality required to succeed at the highest levels of the game.
